The New Zealand Land March
Recently in social studies we have been learning about the New Zealand land march and where it started and ended.
The work was quite easy because we just had to search the name of the town and add it to our project.

Pe
For the past week, we have been playing badminton in P.E. Today I am going to tell you how to score a game of badminton You can play badminton in singles or pairs. There are smaller lines for a single match and wider/deeper lines for a doubles match. if you hit the shuttlecock over to the opposite side, and they don't hit, but it lands within the court lines, you score a point. If a server is unsuccessful in hitting the shuttlecock over the net, or the serve doesn't go diagonal, it's a point to the other team and they get the next serve. if you hit the shuttlecock out of the lines/court, it's a point to the other team.

Human rights
Recently in social studies we have been learning about the human rights. I worked with Divontae to make a poster. Here is the finished poster
Gloriavale
1. What are the traditional roles of men, women and children in the community? The men are more expected to do jobs like building, women are expected to clean and look after children, children are expected to do small jobs like cleaning.
2. At what age are members of Gloriavale expected to begin working? Children are expected to start working as soon as they can walk.
3. What role does religion play in the lives of Gloriavale members? Religion is the biggest thing in their lives in Gloriavale.
4. Do you think people living in Gloriavale are happy? Why or why not? I think they are happy because their life is the only one they know so they think that it is good.
5. Do you think the people in Gloriavale expeirience Human Rights? Most human rights probably but they don't experience all because they have to work from such a young age.
6. Would you be happy to live in a community like Gloriavale. Why or why not? Probably not because that is a big change from my current life and I don't think I would like it better.
