Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela was the first president of South Africa and probably the most famous one since. He also fought for equality in South Africa and was arrested for his protests later in life. After being released from prison he eventually did help topple South Africa's rascial problems. Nelson Mandela was probably one of the biggest black rights activists and had a big influence in changing the segregation in South Africa.

    Thanks Garick, Why were you learning about Nelson Mandela? How did he become a president after being imprisoned? What was the most interesting fact you learnt? Maybe next time you could also add some photos of him too. Thanks, a really interesting topic.
